Thermal grease is a paste-like thermal conductive medium based on silicone and mixed with metal oxides (such as alumina). It has a thermal conductivity of 0.8~12 W/m·K, low thermal resistance, insulation properties, and temperature resistance (-50~200℃). Its core application is to fill the gaps between heat sources (CPUs, chips) and heat sinks in electronic devices, eliminate the air insulation layer, and conduct heat efficiently. It is a key low-cost and cost-effective material in electronic thermal management.
