Product Details

Core Definition

DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) film, namely diamond-like carbon film, is a nanoscale amorphous carbon-based coating (typically 1–10 μm in thickness) with carbon as the core component. Prepared by vapor deposition processes (such as PVD and CVD), it combines the high hardness of diamond with the low friction property of graphite. Its amorphous structure ensures compatibility with a wide range of substrates.

Key Characteristics (Core Advantages for Industrial Applications)

High Hardness (20–80 GPa): Comparable to diamond, providing excellent wear and scratch resistance;
Low Friction Coefficient (0.05–0.2): Self-lubricating, reducing component wear;
Corrosion Resistance: Resists acids, alkalis, oil contamination and high-temperature oxidation, suitable for harsh working conditions;
Chemical Stability: Does not react with most industrial media, ideal for chemical engineering and machinery applications;
